Junior Coaching Structure
At Portmarnock tennis club we cater for a wide variety of age groups and abilities in our coaching programme. For beginners depending on the age group we have 40 to 60 minute classes. Once the coach decides the kids are ready they can be progressed onto a squad. From the squads the coaches may select kids to be part of the elite squads. We encourage parent to discuss your child’s progression with the coaches.
Term Dates
The terms run in line with the school year and typically are 8-10 week sessions.
Payment
Coaching Fees are charged per term. These are paid at the beginning of each term. Payment must be made through the Portmarnock Tennis Club online payment system. A small transaction charge will be applied. Currently a sibling discount of €5 is applied for each additional sibling and/ or class attended.
Class Times
Every effort will be made to give your child the time slot requested. However, please note that we cannot guarantee your requested time slot. Scheduling will be based on demand, level of ability etc… Scheduling will be performed primarily by the coach, supported by members of the JDC.
Coaching Eligibility
Juniors requesting coaching MUST be members of the PSLC Tennis Club. If membership is required please contact a member of the Junior Development Committee. Juniors are covered under either a “Family” membership or “Child” membership.
